ADR Atlantic is pleased to sponsor a unique opportunity to be held in Moncton,NB that will be of interest to anyone who use ADR (mediation, arbitration, negotiation, facilitation, investigation, workplace assessment etc) to manage workplace conflict.

The event will feature Gary T. Furlong of Agree Inc., in Toronto. Gary is a nationally recognized mediator and leader in dispute resolution aplied in workplaces. See Gary's full bio: Furlong - facilitation bio.pdf

Gary Furlong can help you to diagnose, analyze, and resolve conflict in any situation. He shows mediators, negotiators, managers and anyone else needing to resolve conflict how to simply and effectively understand and assess the situation they face, and he offers specific and practical guidance on how to intervene to resolve it successfully.

A graduate of Stanford University, Furlong is past president of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario, is a Chartered Mediator, and holds his Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School. He is the author of The Conflict Resolution Toolbox and the co-author of The Construction Dispute Resolution Handbook.

As a mediator, Gary has worked in numerous areas of dispute resolution and specializes in intervening in difficult organizational and workplace differences. He has delivered conflict management training for the National Judicial Institute, The Law Society of Upper Canada, and law firms across Canada. He has trained RCMP officers, firefighters, and hundreds of frontline managers and employees for companies such as Purolator Courier and Transport Canada, and has worked with numerous departments of the federal and provincial governments, and many municipalities.  Gary sits on the Law Society of Upper Canada complaint mediation panel, and on the Teachers College of Ontario mediation’s panel.

The day will be useful training/education for members of ADR Atlantic, mediators, arbitrators, HR specialists, labour relations, Managers, Union leaders, labour and uniuon lawyers etc.
