Qualified Mediator (Q.Med)

The Qualified Mediator designation is to recognize members who have completed sufficient mediation and related dispute resolution training to be qualified to practice as mediators.  It is an intermediate step for mediators working to receive their Chartered Mediator designation. 

The designation assists the mediator by providing a nationally recognized credential to show that the mediator has met nationally and regionally set standards for training and/or experience as a mediator.  

Applications for Qualified Mediator:

1.   Read the Q.Med_Requirements

2.   Become a member of ADR Atlantic ()

3.   Complete the Application Form

4.  We will send you an invoice for the processing fee and you can Log into your profile on our website  to pay the invoice


Chartered Mediator (C.Med)

The C.Med designation is Canada’s only official designation for practicing mediators. 

Applications for Chartered Mediator:

1.   Read the C. Med Requirements

2.   Become a member of ADR Atlantic ()

3.   Complete the Application Form

4.  We will send you an invoice for the processing fee and you can log into your Profile on our website to pay the invoice
